Ninety plaques, honoring the best athletes in the Quad Cities, finally have a home. Tomorrow, the Quad-City Sports Hall of Fame will move to its new location at Modern Woodmen Park in Davenport. The Quad-City Times founded the Hall of Fame in 1987. And for the past 9 years, it has been in storage. Executive Editor of the Times, Jan Touney says tomorrow, the Sports Commission and River Bandits will hold a ribbon cutting at the new, permanent location. Touney says a local firm, DMW Design, will install all the plaques on the suite level of Modern Woodmen Park.
