Of the more than 30 countries that Davenport native and resident Brendan Iglehart has visited, perhaps none is more shrouded in secrecy than North Korea.
Iglehart flew to the country in 2014, traveling with a group of about 30 through a Chinese tourism agency that specializes in unusual excursions.
Iglehart talked about his travels with his friend Keenen Wilson at the studios of WVIK for The Great Quad Cities Listen. The two also discussed how Iglehart's travels gave inspiration for his new tourism company, altSTATES Travel, which arranges trips to locations around the Midwest.
