Romney Rally in Bettendorf

Independent voters will decide the election this fall. That's what republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney told a rally today (wed) in Bettendorf.
At LeClaire Manufacturing, he told a couple thousand cheering supporters he'll do everything he can to win the election. But to help, they must each find at least one person who voted for Barack Obama in 2008, and convince them to vote differently this time.
If elected, Romney promised to focus on five things: energy, education, controlling federal spending, free and fair trade with other countries, and encouraging small businesses and entrepeneurs.
This was Romney's second visit to the Quad Cities in two months, and followed a visit by President Obama by exactly one week.
