For years, Palmer Chiropractic College has allowed the YMCA to use one of its properties as a preschool. And now the school has given it to the organization.
Last week, Palmer announced it donated the 4,500 sq. ft. building to the Scott County Family YMCA. The early learning center is located in the 700 block of Harrison Street in Davenport.
Jim O'Connor from Palmer says it just made sense to turn it over to the group using it. The Palmer YMCA Early Learning Center serves 75 children per year. They range in age from six weeks to five years.
