Moline Clearing Snow & Trees

It's been slow going for city crews in Moline, trying to clean up after the weekend storm, that included rain, wet snow, high winds, and falling temperatures.

Doug House, general manager of municipal services, says three contractors have been hired to clean up all the broken branches and trees.
His goal is for the plows to clear all of Moline's neighborhood streets, or at least to make them passable, by Tuesday morning.

House hopes Moline residents will be patient, and realize his crews are working as fast as they can.
