Just hear those sleigh bells jingling in Clinton on Saturday

A weekend concert in Clinton will feature familiar Christmas melodies, a local chorus and a carol sing-along.

Clinton Symphony Orchestra Conductor, Brian Dollinger says each December, he invites a different musical group or musician to participate. For example, this year's guest is the adult chorus, RiverChor, which will join the orchestra for selections from Handel's Messiah, Sleigh Ride and Christmas Day by Holst. Thirty to forty people sing with RiverChor, which is directed by Dr. Rob Engleson.

Dollinger says if you've never been to see the Clinton symphony, the holiday concert is a good introduction. You can bring whole family to listen to music they're familiar with, in a more relaxed setting.

The Clinton Symphony's annual Holidays Concert will be held on Saturday at 7:30 pm, in Vernon Cook Theater at the high school.
