Holliday Rejoins Deere Board

Deere and Company

A familiar face has joined the Deere and Company board of directors. Wednesday the company announced the addition of Charles Holliday Junior, currently chairman of Royal Dutch Shell.

Holliday previously served on the Deere board from 2007 to 2016.

He's also served as chairman and chief executive officer of DuPont, chairman of Bank of America, and chairman of the National Academy of Engineering.

Holliday returns to the Deere board starting in January.

A native of Detroit, Herb Trix began his radio career as a country-western disc jockey in Roswell, New Mexico (“KRSY, your superkicker in the Pecos Valley”), in 1978. After a stint at an oldies station in Topeka, Kansas (imagine getting paid to play “Louie Louie” and “Great Balls of Fire”), he wormed his way into news, first in Topeka, and then in Freeport Illinois.
