Another mixed month for farm equipment sales - the Association of Equipment Manufacturers reports tractor sales in the US in July rose 5 per cent, while sales of combines dropped 24 per cent.
For the first six months of the year, tractors sales have risen 2.6 per cent over the same period last year, while combines are 12.6 per cent below the comparable period of 2013.
Sales are close to last year's high levels, and above 2011 and 2012.
