An investigation of Deere and Company, for possible bribery of foreign officials, is over and the company seems to have been cleared. Today the company announced it has been notified by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that it's done looking into the case, and does not plan any enforcement action.
Deere was notified in the summer of 2011 the SEC was investigating possible illegal payments to officials in Russia and some nearby countries. It cooperated fully with the agency, and says it's pleased the case is over.
