Polls will be open in Davenport tomorrow for the municipal primary election. Voters will choose city council candidates for the November ballot in the third ward and for at-large seats.
In the third ward, incumbent alderman Bill Boom is being challenged by two people - Andrew King and Carlton Wills. Two of the three will advance to the city election next month.
In the at-large race, five people are running for two council seats. The five include both incumbents, Gene Meeker and Jason Gordon, plus Cheryl Draeger, Dale Gilmour, and Kevin Perkins. Four of them will be earn a place on the November ballot.
Polls will be open in Davenport from 7 am until 8 pm.
