Former Illinois Congressman Lane Evans died Wednesday night, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.
On today's WVIK News Focus, old friends and colleagues remember him as a genuine, humble, and staunch defender of veterans, family farmers, and workers.

A visitation will be held this Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6 pm at Esterdahl Mortuary in Moline.
The funeral will be held on Monday at 10 am at Sacred Heart Church in Moline.
Congressman Evans will be buried at the National Cemetery on Arsenal Island.
