More than six months after a Davenport woman disappeared, and three months after her body was found, an arrest has been made. Today Rock Island police arrested 39 year old Timothy McVay of Rock Island, the former boyfriend of Carrie Olson.
The 29 year old Olson was last seen on December 29th buying gas in Rock Island, and reported missing the following day when she didn't show up for work. Then in early April her body was found in a wooded area near Hastings Minnesota, southeast of Minneapolis.
McVay is charged with first degree murder and concealment of a homicidal death. His bond is set at 1.5 million dollars and he's scheduled to make his first court appearance Saturday.
