Wall of Honor at CCC

January  31, 2013

A tribute to veterans will soon be on display at Clinton Community College. The Student Veterans Association is collecting names for a Wall of Honor. Glenn Williams, faculty advisor for the association, says the wall of honor will feature a plaque with names, their service dates, and the branch of the military they served in.
The Wall of Honor will also be open to college alumni and former faculty and staff.  Williams is preparing to send the plaque to an engraver who'll probably put about 30 veterans' names on it, with room to add more names in the future.
Williams served in the Army for 20 years, retiring in 1994. He says the plaque, with the first group of veterans names, should be ready to display at Clinton Community College early next month.
