Rock Island School Board Seeks New Member

June  25, 2014

The Rock Island Board of Education is looking for a new board member. At a special meeting Tuesday night, Kim Armstrong told members she's resigning, after serving three years on the board.  Her four-year term expires next April, so the board is inviting people to apply to serve the rest of her term.

The deadline for submitting applications is July 8th. The Rock Island School Board will select the new member, who will take the seat at the July 22nd meeting.

Information is on the school district's web site.
