Many GOP primary voters tend to be conservatives who are wary of climate action, but surveys show a majority of voters expected in the general election favor government action to protect the climate. Dozens of Iowa residents who are out of state or overseas will participate in Iowa's democratic caucus. The state's democratic party says 90 people signed up for the new "Tele-Caucus" service.

The list of presidential campaign stops in the Quad Cities this week just keeps growing. Today, Jane Sanders, the wife of Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders, will host a lunch event in Davenport.

A week full of visits by presidential candidates and their spouses is wrapping up. Thursday in Dubuque, former President Bill Clinton will campaign for Hillary at the Hotel Julien in Dubuque at 4:15 pm.

When Frank Klipsch was sworn in last night as mayor of Davenport, Bill Gluba officially ended his eight years in office. And he says that makes him the second longest serving mayor in city history.

Former President Bill Clinton will campaign for his wife in eastern Iowa this week. On Thursday, he'll appear in Cedar Rapids and Dubuque, for what the Hillary Clinton campaign says is "his first Iowa swing of the new year."

One month before the Iowa caucuses, Hillary Clinton kicked off a two-day, cross state bus tour in the Quad Cities on Monday.

To a crowd of about 400 at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in Davenport, the democratic candidate outlined what she would do if elected president. But she also spent a lot of time describing what republicans will do if they win the White House. 

She also criticized republican candidates for their attacks against Muslims living in the US - calling the attacks shameful and dangerous.

Presidential candidates, Chris Christie, Marco Rubio, and Bernie Sanders, will campaign in eastern Iowa this week. But, some events are canceled today due to winter weather.

In a crowded union hall in Bettendorf, Hillary Clinton encouraged her local campaign team to work extra hard after the holidays. Tuesday night, the Democratic presidential candidate thanked and took a picture with each of her volunteers.  

Clinton says she's grateful for the canvassing, calling, and organizing her team has done so far. They've helped her run a campaign she says is "on the right side of history."

Before greeting volunteers at the United Steelworkers building in Bettendorf, Clinton campaigned in Keota. Next, she'll go home to celebrate the holidays.
