Student Hunger Drive (Facebook)

Once again, teenagers have been working hard to feed Quad Cities residents in need. Last night at the Finale Rally, the Student Hunger Drive announced 17 area high schools collected 478,000 pounds of food for the River Bend Food Bank in Davenport.

Salvation Army

A sure sign of the upcoming holidays is about to make its first appearance. Tonight the Salvation Army of the Quad Cities will kick-off its annual Red Kettle Campaign.

A 60-year-old pine tree from a backyard in the Quad Cities is now part of a holiday tradition. Today, a crew lifted into place a Christmas tree at the iWireless Center in Moline.
