Local residents are invited to take a vacation without leaving town this weekend. It's the 14th annual "Be a Tourist in Your Own Backyard Weekend," sponsored by the Quad Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau.  Spokeswoman Jessica Waytenick  says 45 businesses, restaurants, attractions, and hotels will participate, offering discounts and special promotions.  She says one of the most popular deals is a coupon for free admission to the Putnam Museum, after the purchase of one ticket. Other specials include cheaper rates and meals at the Hotel Blackhawk and 14 other hotels.
