Figge Art Museum

Children in prison are featured in a new art exhibit in the Quad Cities. Over the weekend, the Figge Art Museum in Davenport opened "Girls in Justice." Richard Ross photographed the children in juvenile jails across the country. And 53 of his most recent photos are on display.

Hero Street Film Premiere

A film about local soldiers, by a local film production company, will be shown for the first time Thursday night. Together with WQPT-tv, Fourth Wall Films from Moline, will premiere "Letters Home from Hero Street," based on letters between Frank Sandoval from Silvis and his family during World War Two.

For a couple of hours on Christmas Day, Dubuque will offer an alternative to football games, holiday concerts, and movie marathons. Its government access station, CityChannel, will show, "The River in Real Time," a virtual cruise of the Mississippi River.
