  • Paintings by some of the best-known artists will visit the Quad Cities later this year. For three months, beginning in October, the Figge Art Museum in Davenport will host "French Moderns: Monet to Matisse, 1850-1950."

  • A federal judge has ordered the University of Iowa to re-instate a Christian student group that's suing the university for religious discrimination. Business Leaders in Christ argued it would be irreparably harmed if it was barred from participating in today's student organization fair.

  • Rock Island native Madison Keys lost to Angelique Kerber of Germany last night in the quarterfinals of the Australian Open, 6-1 6-2.
