Today's headlines:

  • the Robert Young Center expands its services in Muscatine,
  • the National Weather Service dedicates its new building in Davenport,
  • and Birdies for Charity prepares for its 48th year.

It should be sunny today with a high near 47, and light southwest winds.

A native of Detroit, Herb Trix began his radio career as a country-western disc jockey in Roswell, New Mexico (“KRSY, your superkicker in the Pecos Valley”), in 1978.
