The Clinton School District will hold in-depth interviews this week with finalists for the job of superintendent. The board of education received 20 applications, and narrowed the list to three.
All three are already superintendents for other school districts in Iowa - they are:
- Gary DeLacy, from Danville,
- Larry Hunt, currently superintendent for the Dike-New Hartford schools,
- and Laurie Noll, the superintendent in Fairfield.
Interviews with the board, district staff, and Clinton residents will be held Monday through Wednesday, and the board hopes to make a decision soon afterwards.
Whomever is chosen will replace Deb Olson who's going to retire in June.
