Saint Ambrose University and Eastern Iowa Community Colleges Sign Articulation Agreements

Four colleges have made it easier to get a degree in the Quad Cities. Today, Saint Ambrose University in Davenport signed articulation agreements with Scott, Clinton, and Muscatine community colleges. The agreements will help students from the Eastern Iowa Community Colleges earn bachelor's degrees from Saint Ambrose.

Saint Ambrose President, Sister Joan Lescinski, says the agreements guarantee students that their courses will transfer, making a complicated process simpler.
After two years at the community colleges, graduates will need just two more years to earn a B.A. in Business Sales, Healthcare Sales, or Elementary Education.

Don Doucette  is Chancellor of the Eastern Iowa Community Colleges.

He says sales, education and healthcare careers can be lucrative, and the articulation agreements make bachelor's degrees more affordable and accessible to students.

The new agreements take effect this fall.
