Planning a trip to the Quad Cities just got easier. The Convention and Visitors Bureau has added new features to its website including better filter options for finding a hotel.
Marketing Manager Jessica Waytenick says a new tool also allows people to add attractions and businesses their "trip wish list."
So far this year, visitquadcities.com/ has 1.3 million page views. That's part of the reason the tourism bureau wants to make trip planning as easy as possible.

This spring, the Convention and Visitors Bureau's website added blog and video posts as well.
Waytenick says most Quad Cities tourists come from the Chicago area, Iowa, and southern Wisconsin.
