Police believe Brewer shot an 18 year old male and a 19 year old female Thursday about 7 pm, in the 200 block of South Hancock Avenue. Both were hospitalized, but are not considered to have life threatening injures.

Anyone with information about him should call the Davenport police or Crimestoppers.

So far this year, police in Davenport have responded to 121 shots fired incidents, compared to just 118 in all of last year. And this year's tally includes 22 in July and 28 in August. Officers emphasize all of the recent incidents are “target specific” and not random shootings.

As a result of these incidents, 29 people have been arrested this year and 16 face federal gun charges.
