A critically acclaimed author will give the commencement speech at Monmouth College in the spring. Min Jin Lee is best known for her second novel, this year's bestseller "Pachinko." Its about Korean families who lived in Japan from the early 20th century through the 1980s.
Lee's first novel "Free Food for Millionaires" was first published in 2007. It won a number of awards including New York Times Editor's choice and national bestseller.
Monmouth's 161st commencement will be held on May 13th.
