A couple of local engineering companies are now part of a third. Missman Inc. and McClure Engineering merged with IMEG Corp. last summer.
Cliff Missman founded C.E. Missman and Associates in Rock Island 72 years ago. It has offices in the Quad Cities and Rockford.
William McClure and Jerold Leckman founded McClure Engineering Associates in East Moline years ago. It's also located in the Quad Cities and Rockford, plus Gurnee, Macomb, and Ottawa.
IMEG is 63 years old and specializes in construction, infrastructure, and construction-related services. The firm employs 1,200 people at more than 30 locations, including the Quad Cities corporate office, just off 11th Street and Black Hawk Road. Some of IMEG's offices are also located in the former KJWW Engineering building in Rock Island.
