Branstad Confirmation Hearing Begins

Several months after his nomination was first announced, the confirmation hearing for Terry Branstad will finally begin.

The governor of Iowa will go before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Tuesday in Washington as it considers whether he'll become the next US ambassador to China.

Following tradition, the nominee's home state senators will introduce him - Chuck Grassley and Joni Ernst.
