Lacy Scarmana

WVIK Morning Edition Producer/Digital Curator

Lacy Scarmana moved to the Quad Cities in February of 2016 to become Morning Edition Producer and Digital Curator at WVIK. She has hosted Morning Edition, All Things Considered, and anchored midday newscasts on the station. Lacy also reports for the newsroom and produces WVIK's podcasts, including The Great Quad Cities Listen, The Gallery Gap, Margins, Talking Art, Good Morning, and Suspect Convictions, which peaked at #2 worldwide on the Apple Podcasts charts. 

She began her radio career as a student at Indiana University, where she worked as a reporter and producer for NPR member station WFIU. Shortly after graduating from IU with a B.A. in Journalism, Lacy moved to Chicago to intern for a daily news talk show on WBEZ.
